REVIEW: AUSSIE Miracle Moist Conditioner & Shampoo

I’ve been meaning to review this little gem for a while now. I’ve been using it regularly for a couple of years, particularly when my hair is dry. I bought these travel bottles for £1 each from Wilkinson’s, but I know that there are often deals on the regular bottles in various shops at 2 for £5. I’ve seen them sold in The Original Factory Shop, Boots, Tesco, etc.

The packaging is nothing special- it gives the relevant information but they’ve wasted no time on pretty patterns or fonts. It’s a shame, really, because had a friend not recommended it to me I probably wouldn’t have thought to try it!

Both shampoo and conditioner contain macadamia oil. It claims to be a “moisture infuser”, which sounds a little vague to me. But hey, if it does the job, who am I to complain?!

They’re both pretty creamy, so they don’t drip everywhere. That said, due to the thick consistency you need to use quite a lot to cover your hair, especially if it’s reasonably long.

Now, the smell. I absolutely LOVE it! It’s quite a unique smell- sort of nutty mixed with fruit and milk. It also leaves your hair smelling lovely and doesn’t just wash it away. I leave the conditioner in my hair for at least 5 minutes to make sure I get the full effect.

My hair was definitely left feeling softer and lighter. In fact, as far as high street brand conditioner goes, it’s probably the best results I’ve had.

  • Smells delicious
  • Affordable
  • Easily sourced in the UK
  • Simple to use
  • Creamy consistency
  • Did not irritate my sensitive skin

  • Simple packaging which doesn’t really do the product justice
  • Doesn’t last very long

Despite the cons, I still end up buying various products from this brand over and over again. I’ve never bought anything from Aussie that hasn’t worked for me. If you have dry or damaged hair, I would strongly recommend giving this one a go!
